Winter Bamboo Fleece: 88% Lenzing MicroModal®/ 12% LYCRA®

Our heavyweight fleece (350-370gsm) is perfect for outdoor temperatures below -20°C, as it's breathable and soft on the outside while being fleecy and cozy on the inside. It's been rated top in Canada!

Viscose of Bamboo is made from the cellulose fibers of the bamboo plant grown without pesticides and fertilizers. Additionally, bamboo fabric is hypoallergenic and biodegradable, making it gentle on both your skin.

Our Bamboo and MicroModal fabric is knit and dyed in Ontario using fair trade production and low-impact, Azo-free dyes. (Choosing azo-free dyes helps to minimize the risk of exposure to harmful substances and promotes healthier and more sustainable manufacturing practices.)

    Great except for sizing

I love Anne Mulaire clothing and have leggings with the original Voila label. This is the first time I’ve run into a sizing issue. This is a second pair of Spirit Fleece pants but despite ordering the same size the fit is very different. The new pair measures 2” larger at the waist and band. They slide down on me.

When I took both pair to the shop, I was told that the first pair must have shrunk over time. They measure a small/medium and the new pair measure a medium/large.

This is a conundrum for me. One pays a fair price for a product that aspires to high quality, long wearing. So what do I order henceforth? Do I order anticipating it will shrink a size over time? Do I wash and dry my new pair till they shrink to the size I wish? Or do I order a size smaller, hope it fits and doesn’t shrink too much?

I’m befuddled as I haven’t run into this on previous clothing. What do others do for this problem? I do love the clothing and wish to continue adding to my wardrobe.

    Liveable

Seriously could live in these. Warm and cozy. With a Chelsea boot or other boot they are nice enough for work. And yet they are sweats and comfy like sweats too. Are they pricey? yup. I got them on a sale and still thought they were a lot. But they are so worth the cost. Wonderful material, soft, cozy, and you can tell it is good quality. Well made. Very comfortable. If you’ve been on the fence about trying these, take the splurge!
