Ethical Manufacturing

What does ethical manufacturing mean in today's fashion and textile industry? Ethical manufacturing transcends mere compliance with labor laws; it ensures that every step of the supply chain upholds human rights and promotes fair labor practices. By guaranteeing fair wages, safe working conditions, and worker empowerment, we uplift the lives of our workforce and support our local economy. Ethical manufacturing also significantly slashes our carbon footprint by limiting over production, reducing textile waste, and slashing off-shore transportation emissions.

In-Housing Production

Our entire production process takes place in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, without any offshoring or outsourcing of sewing labor abroad.

This means our team actually sources our own materials, mill, cut, and sew all our clothing in-house.

By owning our own production, it allows us to deliver top-quality products right to your door with the quality and confidence you deserve.

Indigenous-Owned

Anne Mulaire is located in Treaty 1 territory, the ancestral and traditional homeland of the Anishinaabe peoples. We acknowledge and value that we live and work in the territories of the Anishinaabe, Cree, Dakota, Dene, Metis, and Oji-Cree Nations.

Richly inspired by Anne Mulaire’s Anishinaabe/French Métis héritage, our prints are handcrafted by our Indigenous Métis Elder, David Albert, Andréanne’s father. Read more about his work and the story behind our one-of-a-kind prints.
