WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A B CORP?

To become a B Corp, Anne Mulaire underwent an assessment of our business model and operations to confirm that we meet the high standards of social and environmental impact.

The assessment is divided into 5 Impact Areas: Governance, Workers, Community, Environment, and Customers. For each, we received a score which is then added up to the total B Impact Score.

To qualify for a B Corp certification you must score at least 80, with the median score of ordinary businesses being 50.9.

Governance evaluates a Anne Mulaire's overall mission, engagement around its social/environmental impact, ethics, and transparency. This section also evaluates the ability of a company to protect their mission and formally consider stakeholders in decision making through their corporate structure (e.g. benefit corporation) or corporate governing documents.
