MERCI for your unwavering commitment and dedication. In 2022 we continued to make tremendous progress in advancing our mission. We’ve worked diligently (and tirelessly) to lay the groundwork to be more than “just a clothing brand”. We’re building a vertical and innovative model of manufacturing that is radically better for the people and the planet.
Here are just a few of the many accomplishments we achieved together:
On-shore Manufacturer-to-Consumer Business Model
We continued to scale our manufacturing capacity by producing ALL our clothing locally and selling them directly to you. We’ve invested in smart technology and hired additional talented seamstresses and cutters who are compensated with a fair and living wage. We’ve also begun tracking and monitoring our carbon footprint in the areas of energy, emissions, water, and waste through our environmental management system.
Just-in-Time Manufacturing
We are a 100% zero-waste manufacturer. This means we don’t rely on others to do our dirty work when it comes to waste. By making only what we need, we don’t overproduce or have unsold inventory that inevitably sits in a warehouse or ends up in a landfill. And through our Return-to-Nature, alteration, customization, and zero-waste programs, we are eliminating any further and unnecessary textile waste.

Better Fabrics
Over 90% of our clothing is natural, regenerative, and biodegradable. Although that is good by any standards for a clothing brand, we know we can do better. That’s why we began testing and developing a bio-stretch yarn that is Cradle-to-Cradle certified and can naturally decompose after its natural life cycle.
Our compostability research project with the University of Manitoba is also accelerating our efforts in circular material development. Further, we just signed an NDA to test pilot a textile passport that will utilize a smart thread and technology software to track the entire lifecycle of our products—from retail distribution to resource recovery and beyond.
Return To Nature Initiative (RTN)
Earlier this year we launched our RTN Initiative which is guiding the company to develop a completely in-house waste recovery system by recollecting, reusing, repairing, reselling, and ultimately composting, providing you with an entirely new type of ownership experience. Our Resale Market and our Refresh program have been particularly popular.
Through your support, we are well on our way to becoming one of the very first fully integrated circular fashion brands in the world. This is something to truly celebrate!

Merci for being here on this journey with us! We’re looking forward to partnering with you in 2023 and beyond. From the entire Anne Mulaire team, we wish you and your loved ones all the happiness, health, and peace in the New Year.
